Me and my boyfriend have been together for a year. We are in a long distance relationship. We are both quite possessive, jealous people so we know what boundaries not to push and go over. He said he was invited to nightclub on saturday night with his mates and that there was an "ann summers party" going on there that night. I told him I didn't want him going because I don't feel comfortable with him looking at girls walking around in lingerie (he would hate it if I went to a party with guys walking around in boxers)...we had a huge fight, he promised, he swore he wouldn't go..he promised he was going to a different pub with his mates and when they went to the ann summers party, that he would go home or somewhere else. I was in tears, begging him not to go with his mates at all coz if he did, I knew he would end up at that party. (I don't have a problem with him going out with his friends, I just don't want him going looking at women with barely anything on them).
I found out yesterday that he did go from his friend on facebook that made a comment about the party. He initially lied. I dragged it out of him. Then he admitted he "eyed up 3 girls" in lingerie there. At that point I told him to never speak to me again. He rang me over and over again, apologising, saying he was so sorry for breaking his promise to me, crying, begging him to give me another chance, saying he wanted to marry me and he would move over here if needs be. We sorted it out earlier, I said I would give him another chance as long as he doesn't break promises and tell LIES anymore..then I noticed he accepted an invite to a "naughty fancy dress outfit" party on may 15th by a female friend of his (who doesn't like me)..I said "are you crazy? After everything, you're going to go to a party where the subject is 'erotic party'?" He replied "don't tell me what to do, I am not having it" - I am due to see him on thursday, to fly out and see him for the weekend. We have plans on friday to go to a theme park. But I can't stand for him going to that party on May 15th. After breaking his promise...how could he do this to me??
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, I said I wasn't flying out this thursday because if he truly loved me, he would just not go to the "Naughty themed party" as I know girls in lingerie and naughty outfits will flirt with him and he would go crazy if I was to do such a thing..so we said our "goodbyes" on facebook and he said "I'll alway love you". How can he love me if he's willing to throw what we have away for some party?
It's the fact that he has such little disregard for my feelings about this subject...I feel like I don't even know him anymore. The "old" him wouldn't have gone, he knew it would have been too much hassle. He would have just declined the invite, especially after what happened yesterday. And if I was invited to a party with guys walking around almost naked, I would simply not go because I know it would make him feel uncomfortable. Btw I'm 23 and he's 21.
