Leaver's Ball, Prom (whatever you want to call it) in June and I need a dress. And I have absolutely no idea where to start.
Thing is I don't really do dresses but on this occasion I have to. I don't want anything too fancy with over the top designs which I'm probably never ever going to wear, ever. I don't want it costing loads either because there's not much point seeing as how it's only for my Year 11 Leaver's Ball.
Lets describe me and what I like and don’t like first which may help. I don't like jazziness; a few bits here and there fine but everywhere? Forget it. Love vintage bits, guarantees chances of no one else wearing exactly the same as you. I’d prefer a knee length dress. I’m a bit of a rock chic so nothing dead flowery, pink or both. Two piece sets would be fine (skirt and top). I have brown skin and black hair and I’m quite small if that helps at all.

I'm turning 18 in 18 days (ha ha) and I was wondering if this would be a fun party idea? My friends and I love to dress up in vintage or costume like clothing, so I was thinking of this:
An Alice in Wonderland tea party, with costumes and dresses, and playing croquette in the park. Have a Mad Hatter tea party, too. We would dress more like Gwen Stefani in her "What You Waiting For" video.

Does anyone know where I can find good vintage clothing in the Cleveland OH area (around it any direction in about 50 miles is fine). When I say good vintage, I dont mean halloween costumes or stuff you can rent. I want to buy nice vintage clothing items, like dresses or slacks. So please do not suggest the Salvation Army or Unique Thrift stores (they never have anything good). Thank you very much for your help.
P.S. There is a great one in Ohio City (I cant think of the name right now), but if you know the shop I am talking about, you will know what kind of store I like. Prices dont have to be the same though
